    Competitive Team Winter Program

The Competitive team caters to all types of freestyle skiers, competing in Moguls, Slopestyle, Big Air and Half Pipe.

The program this year includes over 60 days of on snow coaching days and 14 trampoline training sessions with our CFSA qualified coaches.

Our general schedule involves on snow coaching on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with trampoline training on Thursday afternoons. However, this schedule fluctuates around the school holidays and competition dates, so please refer to the Comp team Calendar for exact dates and times.

This year, the program starts before the opening of Silver Star Mountain with a 2-day camp at Apex on the 19/20th of November. We begin training at Silver Star on the 26th of November and will continue training there for the entire season.

This season, the competitions that the entire team will be targeting are:
    - BC Series events (mandatory for all comp team athletes)
    - Canadian Open Tour
    - Showdown Throwdown Hoedown
    - 1516 Rail Jam

For those athletes that qualify, we will also be targeting:
    - Jnr Nationals

You are required to register with CFSA and purchase a license for insurance purposes.  You should do this BEFORE registering for any of our programs. Click here for instructions.

With more on snow training days, trampoline training almost every week and more competitions, this will be our biggest season yet.  Don't be late for this registration. There are very limited spots for this program.

    Fees:
This year, instead of offering two different rates (a volunteer & non volunteer rate), we will be offering the same rate to all parents.

Those parents who volunteer for the club will be entitled to a volunteer rebate at the end of the season. For more information, see our Volunteer Rebate section.
