SS Freestyle introduces the "The Freeski Tech Series".  A series of technical sessions offered to young SS Freestyle skiers who are looking to further develop their technical, physical skills as well as their mental awareness and understanding of freeskiing in the natural beauty of the mountains.  At the heart of freeskiing there is no man-made features, there is no mandatory track to ski down and the goal is to be as smooth, fast and a take as much air as possible!

Who is this for?  Competition skiers from ALL SS Freestyle programs are welcome to join including any Freestylerz and GTeam members.  All skiers in this program must be good listeners and willing to follow instructions.  Skiers must be able to ski any run at Silver Star Mountain without hesitation.

What is involved?  These are not formal lessons or competitions.  These are supervised sessions with specific objectives in a variety of all-mountain environments. There are five fun sessions scheduled in the series that we feel will add to each freeskier's 'tool kit'.  Each session will be led by a different coach with a particular objective for that session. The purpose of this series is to increase every skier's knowledge, diversify their skill set and keep the freeski vibe high!

Group size?  The sessions in this series will likely be big groups.  Coaches will be strategically placed to ensure instructions are clear, skiers are safe and focused on the task at hand.   Ski buddy (skiing with a partner) protocols will be in place at all times.  These are NOT lessons.

ScheduleAll sessions on Sundays.  With the exception of Revelstoke all sessions are half day starting at 8:45am until 11:45am.  Here is the tentative Freeski Tech Series plan for the 2019/20 season:

The Revy Camp will have additional costs as it is a partnership with a separate entity.
