The SS Freestyle Katal Innovations Air Bag is up and running!  SS Freestyle would like to make it available as much as possible so has opened up three bonus air bag training sessions (March 24/26).  Please note sessions dates may change or be cancel if weather is unsafe or there is heavy snow.  This is a Freestyle Canada and Canada Snowboard sanctioned - training activity.

Please note - to jump all participants must do the following:

  • Skiers must email proof of Freestyler Canada membership admin@ssfreestyle.com.   
  • Snowboarders must email proof of Canada Snowboard membership to admin@ssfreestyle.com .
  • Please bring a digital or printed copy of your current Snowreg / membership to each session.
  • All users must have a Silver Star Mountain lift ticket or season pass to participate.
  • Head Coach, Program Director or President of visiting clubs must contact wade@ssfreestyle.com prior to registering athletes.

SS Freestyle Air Bag Drop-in

Here are the sessions available:

Thursday March 24

  • 8:45 - Arrive at bag. Athletes, Coaches, Volunteers help set up
  • 9:30 - 11:45am - Air Bag session

Saturday March 26

  • 8:45 - Arrive at bag. Athletes, Coaches, Volunteers help set up
  • 9:30 - 11:45am - Air Bag session

Air Bag Guidelines (visiting teams)

  • Teams with greater then 3 athletes must supply an Air 3 qualified coach. 
  • If multiple teams attend, additional coaches may be requested by SS Freestyle 
  • SS Freestyle will supply a bag operator.
  • Volunteers must show proof of Freestyle Canada or Canada Snowboard membership
  • Visiting teams are asked to bring volunteers to support the set-up and tear-down
  • Park only in Silver Star Mountain resort-designated areas.  Absolutely NO parking on streets.

Athlete Guidelines 

  • Proof of membership required
  • Previous trampoline and/or water ramp experience required
  • Helmets mandatory
  • Everyone must have perfect edges on skis/boards. No cracks or breaks. 
  • Bring water and snacks
  • Dress for weather and be prepared to hike
